	Gallery: Erpen (Stand 124) Artist Nathan Pendlebury Biography Born 1973, Nathan Pendlebury is son to fellow 'Erpen' artist Anthony Pendlebury. Nathan studied Fine Art at Warrington Collegiate Institute and Liverpool John Moores University. Nathan lives and has his studio space in Liverpool, he has won acclaim for both his painting and photography being selected to show in the 2007 International Chelsea Fine Art Competition in New York. 	Gallery: Bohemia Galleries (Stand G2) Artist Nemo Biography The prevalent theme in Nemo's work is travel and the discovery of the beauty and excitement of new places. His distinctive images draw together the charm and mood of several famous cities at once to create a dreamlike memory of time and space in a fascinating combination of mixed media. Nemo Colesnicenco grew up in Chisinau, the capital city of Moldova. This Eastern European nation is known for its rich artistic heritage. Nemo, as he is known to his friends, remembers being fascinated by the carvings and other craftworks that surrounded him. In particular he loved paintings and from an early age he was determined to become an artist. Nemo began intense inquiry into the style and techniques of the famous painters and formed a particular interest in the work of the Surrealists. He enrolled in art school but did not enjoy the strict academic style of the Russian based academy and abandoned his traditional training in favour of practical experience. His talent flourished and soon he was organizing large outdoor art fairs to show his work and that of other young artists. At this point Nemo enlisted in the Soviet Army where he served for two years. After completing his tour of duty he returned to his artistic career, and together with a good friend he started a successful business restoring works of art and painting murals in churches. The ever increasing freedom in their country inspired the desire to travel in many Russian citizens, and Nemo and his family moved to Canada.They settled just north of Toronto and Nemo felt himself to be at a gateway to the world. 	Gallery: Oc - Eo Art (Stand 137) Artist Nguyen Dieu Thuy Biography b. 1962, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Nguyen Dieu Thuy is one of a generation of women who, through work, talent and determination, have overcome the sadness and struggle of growing up in post-war Saigon. She is drawn to white, and this lends a contemporary eye to her harmonious compositions of traditional Vietnamese urban and rural life – women in white, people of the floating markets, fishermen, sparrows, rice bowls, chopsticks, earthenware jars, fans and flowers. Although she paints her women in traditional white ‘ao dai’, the narrative of these paintings is contemporary. Invariably, she adds a touch of colour with a fan, a scarf or flowers, and the poses her figures adopt are poised and elegant: classical, graceful and poetic, yet ready to meet the challenges of a new Vietnam. His early work, mostly executed in oil, are memories – the rich imagery of his grandmother’s village in the North mingling with the sadness of growing up in the South during and after the war, when he was banned from painting. 	Gallery: Oc - Eo Art (Stand 137) Artist Nguyen Thanh Binh Biography b. 1954 Hanoi, Vietnam Binh’s simple compositions are rendered with subdued hues of creams, browns and whites, punctuated occasionally with reds and blacks. He likens his preference for simplicity in composition and design to his own way of life - he wants to express the sorrow of the Vietnamese soul in his works. The elegance of his works moves beyond the form of his subjects and captures their innate grace and beauty. Binh does not just see females for their physical form, but is inspired by the sense of each woman, that elusive feminine mystery. 	Gallery: Castle Arts (Stand 264) Artist Nick Walker Biography Nick Walker is one of Britain's graffiti pioneers. Working out of Bristol for over twenty years, Nick's work, like many of his peers, most notably Banksy, has moved away from conventional graffiti to stencil art. Nick's work employs a good deal of wry humour, treating iconic figures with a refreshing irreverence. The Mona Lisa in particular comes in for some stick; from being morphed into Marge Simpson to mooning the viewer. "1992 I began to combine stencils with my freehand work which allowed me to juxtapose almost photographic imagery with the rawness which evolved from conventional graffiti styles. Stencils introduce an impact element to my work. The appeal of stencils is that they allow me to take an image from anywhere - dissect any part of life - and recreate it on any surface. I try to add an element of humor or irony to some paintings to add a little light relief to the walls. Painting is a form of escapism for me and if my work allows the spectator to do the same thing, then I've achieved more than I set out to do" Artwork V for VAndal

She creates colourful, unique, contemporary oil paintings which vibrate with colour, light and depth.
