Oleg Seniov
Artist Oleg Seniov
Biography Oleg, born in Russia, does not paint in a style typical to his predecessors. His unique style and technique serves to capture something of the romance and fun of life. His ability to marry fine line with expressive strokes produces a pleasing tension on the canvas that has served to gain him much popularity. Oleg relationship to Ludmila Curalova can also be seen in his technique, especially in his similar handling of line, often using the end of the brush to create depth.

Oliver Winconek
Artist Oliver Winconek
Biography Young British artist Oliver Winconek is an interesting proposition - a classically trained graffiti artist who is equally at home creating work for a gallery as he is creating pieces on the street. His gallery work has been exhibited in London, Paris and Glasgow and his pieces are held in private collections around the world. He specialises in creating large-scale outdoor installations, wheat pastes and graffiti which reflect both national and worldwide events. When asked about his work Oliver stated ‘My artwork is heavily focused on the use of colour and getting back to the aesthetics of art without getting too bogged down with hidden messages, and politics.’

Biography I was born in Bedford 1982, even from an early age I have always had a keen interest in art and as a child used to love visiting art galleries. Growing up, I soon realised I needed to pursue this as art was the only activity I truly enjoyed. All of my adult life I have been an artist but it’s only since moving to Kent that I have been able to paint full-time.

My work is based around urban themes that interest me, I love taking everyday scenes and objects and giving them a disquieting shift. I am heavily influenced by city living, in particular London and New York and I enjoy capturing the buzz that only a large capital can exude.

Primarily I work in Acrylic and Spray paint but I often add collage elements to my work using Vinyl or printed paper.

A lot of my work is created from Hand-Cut stencils, from original photographs. When using acrylic I like to use a very smooth, almost graphical technique to lay down the paint, I feel this enhances the spray paint and provides a stark contrast.

Most of my artwork is on canvas but I do create Graffiti art as well, typically from stencils and spray paint.

I was recently commissioned by Cargo in Shoreditch to do a painting beside their piece by Banksy.

I exhibited at the Kounter Kulture show alongside Hush, Copyright, Miss Bugs, Pure Evil and Jef Aerosol.

I have exhibited in various galleries and Art fairs both in the UK and abroad and in 2009 will be showing in New York and Beijing.
