David Fanning was born in Manchester in 1968. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, achieving an art degree in 1994 and has since worked as a freelance scenic artist and propmaker. In the past 4 years he has returned to creating his own work inspired by the modern city. "My work deals with memory, recent history and regeneration of the city and our relationship with it. Using images of the city skyline as it goes through changes in deconstruction and construction, my style is simplistic, almost cartoon-like; a stark contrast to the complexities of living in the modern city." |

Jurgen Dabeedin |
| Biography |
Growing up during the dawn of the space age, photographer, Jurgen Dabeedin began a fascination with science that gained him a degree in scientific imaging, followed by a twenty year career in forensic science. Today, these skills have been channelled into creating unique and vibrant contemporary artworks by seeing life, quite literally, in a different light! 'I have often been asked whether the images are painted as many give this impression, but all my images are of real objects, painted only with light and without the use of 'special effects'! Every image has a hidden secret which connects the viewer emotionally to the colours, forms and textures within'. Jurgen's work is available as limited edition or specially commissioned images. He is an Associate member of the Royal Photographic Society. |
