Artist Phlegm Biography Phlegm works with a dip pen, producing very intricate black and white drawings. The majority of his work is collected into his self published comics and zines. Artist Tom J. Newell Biography Pictorial Showboat #1 is the first instalment in a proposed series of sporadic releases, and is the first ever comic released by emerging gig poster and comic artist Tom J. Newell. The comic is a completely hand drawn, 18-page collection of sequential shorts and decorative compositions, printed in glorious Two-Tone black n’ white as an edition of 500, and its nautically tinged title refers to its existence as a vessel of visual entertainment, which is proud to be temporarily anchored at The Old Sweet Shop.
