Phlegm |
| Biography |
Phlegm works with a dip pen, producing very intricate black and white drawings. The majority of his work is collected into his self published comics and zines. His work can also been seen on the streets as large scale spray painted walls and wheat paste posters. As well as screen printing his own comic covers he often produces short runs of hand pulled art prints based on his illustrations and street work. |

Craww |
| Biography |
Graphic designer by day, illustrator by night, Craww plies his trade from the fair city of Sheffield.
Craww likes ambiguity. Pretty things in dark places, nasty things masquerading in beauty, Hidden stories and happy accidents. Skulls, tattoos, crows and melancholic girls with big hands.
Combining photoshop with pencil, paint, way too much spilt ink and whatever else is at hand, he aims to bring his stream of consciousness droodlings to life with a mixture of elegance, balance and disciplined chaos. |

Elizabeth Von Graevenitz |
| Biography |
Elizabeth tends to surround herself and absorb the environment, social behaviour, smell and taste it. Her studio and brain alike are cluttered with a melee of activity. By using found objects, sound recordings, film, photography, model making and book making she presents the condensed information she collects to the audience. The core essence through out each chosen media brings her to the richness of environment, city life and the oddities of people. |

Mikk Murray |
| Biography |
Time travel, parallel universes and the possible similarities and differences between them are among the notions that Mikk's paintings are involved with.
Derelict spaces become functional, and social situations become a mixture of our history and our future.
Influenced by the media, literature and the environment around us, a narrative is created that gives an insight into these worlds. |

Tom J. Newell |
| Biography |
Pictorial Showboat #1 is the first instalment in a proposed series of sporadic releases, and is the first ever comic released by emerging gig poster and comic artist Tom J. Newell.
The comic is a completely hand drawn, 18-page collection of sequential shorts and decorative compositions, printed in glorious Two-Tone black n’ white as an edition of 500, and its nautically tinged title refers to its existence as a vessel of visual entertainment, which is proud to be temporarily anchored at The Old Sweet Shop.
Tom J. Newell continues to be inspired by art, music and everything. He has recently produced work for +1, Stool Pigeon and Dazed & Confused and is currently typing the last sentence of his own bio/press release thing, which he has written in a third person narrative.. What a loser.
