 Yorkshire Sculpture Park Yorkshire Sculpture Park is an international centre for modern and contemporary art, experienced and enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year. Set in 500 acres of historic parkland, the landscape provides a stunning backdrop for over 80 sculptures  by renowned artists including Henry Moore, Andy Goldsworthy, Barbara Hepworth, Antony Gormley, Elisabeth Frink, Anthony Caro and James Turrell.

Changing exhibitions are set in four magnificent galleries, including the award winning Underground Gallery. This year don’t miss an exhibition of over 100 works by leading artist Peter Randall Page, on display at YSP until January 2010.

 Cornerhouse Cornerhouse is Manchester’s International Centre for Contemporary Visual Arts and Film. With 3 galleries, cinema screens, a bookshop dedicated to film related subjects and art magazines, and a popular Café and Bar. Cornerhouse also encompasses a publications devision and a publications division – an international distribution  service for visual arts books and catalogues.

 Manchester Craft & Design Centre  Manchester Craft & Design is a unique organisation comprising of 18 independent retail/studio spaces, an excellent cafe, events and a rolling programme of exhibitions from leading national and international makers of original contemporary craft and design. Located in Manchester city centre's Northern Quarter, Manchester Craft and Design Centre is at the hub of a growing innovative and artistic community.

Corridor 8

Corridor8 is a new annual arts magazine showcasing the best in contemporary visual art and writing.

Launched in July this year to provide an international mouthpiece for contemporary art in the North of England, the first issue takes as its central theme Will Alsop’s vision of the SuperCity, a vast corridor that runs cost-to-coast from Liverpool to Hull.

Around Alsop's concept Corridor8 profiles, commissions and features, some of the UK’s best-known creative practitioners – from Peter Saville and Iain Sinclair to Will Alsop himself – and between them slots ‘flash’ profiles of some of the emerging and established artists working in the SuperCity region and beyond.

 The Bluecoat is the oldest Grade 1 listed building in central Liverpool and a major landmark on the UK map of contemporary culture. The Bluecoat provides studio spaces for artists within a unique creative community and uses its spaces to showcase talent in visual arts, live art, music, dance and literature.
                              A Foundation  The primary purpose of A Foundation is to support the development, production and exhibition of contemporary visual art and, in particular, to focus on the enrichment and regeneration of Liverpool through culture and the arts. A Foundation is a Cultural Partner of the Buy Art Fair as it supports our mission to help develop a market for contemporary visual arts in the North West.
 



              Own Art
Own Art is delighted to be associated with Buy Art Fair and is supportive of its aim to generate a greater interest in collecting at all levels.

Arts Council England's Own Art scheme makes it easy and affordable for everyone to own high quality contemporary art and craft. Borrow up to £2,000, or as little as £100, and pay back the loan in 10 monthly instalments, interest free (Typical 0% APR). Several Own Art member galleries are exhibiting at the fair, where visitors will able to make purchases using the scheme.*

*Two forms of identification are required to apply for a loan - one for proof of signature, such as a credit or debit card, and the other for proof of address such as a driver's licence.
